CAN Announced The 15 Men Squad For ACC Emerging Cup.

samCricket Association of Nepal(CAN) today announced squad of 15 players and 4 alternatives for ACC Emerging Teams Cup 2013 to be held from August 17 to 25 in Singapore. The team is mix up with young talents and senior players.

Paras Khadka(C), Gyanendra Malla (Vice Captain), Sharad Veshwarkar, Subash Khakural(WK), Avinash Karna, Prithu Baskota, Shakti Gauchan, Rahul Vishwakarma, Basanta Regmi, RamNaresh Giri, Pradip Airee, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari, Chandra Saud and Anil Mandal are the selected players.

Similarly, Amrit Bhattarai, Sanjam Regmi, Naresh Budhayair and Mahesh Chhetri are selected as alternative Players.

Nepal is also set to fly to Sri Lanka for the preparation of ACC Emerging Nations Cup before the tournament.

Nepal is scheduled to meet their first game with a very well known opponents, Afghanistan on 17th of August, While Nepal will play India and Pakistan on 20th and 21st of August respectively. This tournament will be like the preparation of Nepali team for ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier and ODI World Cup Qualifier.
