ICC World Cricket League: Nepal win toss, elect to bowl first
Nepal have won the toss and have elected to bowl first against USA at the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 tournament. The match against USA is being played at the Somerset Cricket Club, Bermuda, on Sunday.
Nepali skipper Paras Khadka won and toss and decided to bowl first, hoping to utilise the moisture in the surface. Nepal will want to kick off their campaign with a win. In order to keep their dreams of playing in the 2015 World Cup alive, Nepal need to finish inside the top two in the six-nation tournament, which will take them to the World Cup Qualifiers, which will be held in New Zealand in 2014 with 10 leading associate and affiliate teams. The top two sides in the Qualifiers will then advance to the 2015 World Cup.
Besides Nepal and USA, Uganda, Oman, Italy and hosts Bermuda are playing in the tournament.
